Bohemia, Edinburgh

Bohemia is treasure trove of wonderfully eclectic gifts and clothing, nestled in two spots in Edinburgh's Morningside/Bruntsfield area.

As its name suggests this boutique has a decidedly bohemian feel to it with collections from a diverse range of designers. I was particularly struck by the gorgeous women's clothing and accessories. Here are some of my faves.

Avoca Anthology Women's Clothing and Accessories

Maileg
Children's Soft Toys
Bensimon Plimsoles
Olive & Orange, a diffusion line from Orla Kiely

Bohemia also produces its own line of home accessories and delightful children's clothing.

I was particularly struck by Bohemia's commitment to ethically sourced and handmade products for their own lines. The Pouffes are to die for!

Clementine Home and Gifts, Edinburgh

While I was away in Edinburgh, I took the opportunity to browse around some of the gorgeous little boutiques the city has to offer. There is a vibrant independent shopping experience to be had in Scotland's capitol and this week I want to introduce you to some of my favourite boutiques that have made a name for themselves among the throng.

Clementine Home and Gifts
is a little gem to be found tucked away in the Bruntsfield area of the city. Here you will find a beautifully curated collection of homeware and gifts that reflect a slightly rustic/"Country Living" feel in the selection on offer. Scottish made items are particularly prominent. I was thrilled to find so many new UK designers I had not discovered before.

Pink Geranium (Edinburgh), oil cloth bags

Sophie Allport fabric accessories
Cloon Keen Candles
Wish Original Doorstops

Hatley Children's Sleepsuits
This is a boutique that you will always be able to find a unique gift for just about anyone, and visiting it without buying something is virtually impossible. It is crammed full of the most delightful items.
