Design Therapy: Ben The Illustrator

It's been high on my To-Do list for some time, so finally today I thought I would share the design work of Ben The Illustrator. First a little bit of the skinny. Ben O'Brien is an illustrator and designer based in Cornwall, UK. His work is vibrant and colourful, and represents a playful and dreamlike outlook on the world. Art prints and cushions make up the main stay of his collections. Ben's wife Fi manages the brand and adds an interior design vision and imaginative approach to the direction of their business and products.

The Frivolous Fifties collection takes inspiration from vintage print ads and visuals from the 1950s, and results in wickedly humorous tongue in cheek images.

Art Prints Top to Bottom: Target Lady, Bear Trap, Lighting Up

I love the creative result from turning some of Ben's designs into wallpaper. Perfect for a statement wall, or a whole room if you are feeling brave and like busy!

Get your hands on your own piece of his work at "Wish You Were Here", the online shop for prints and homewares from Ben's collections.
