DESIGN THERAPY: Maptote

In an age where we all have GPS and can't live without it, why not go a little more old school and use a map? Even better, why not have one on your tote? Genius. Maptote is the brain child of Rachel Rheingold and Michael Berick, who create these cotton totes with silkscreened maps of favourite cities, featuring their neighbourhoods and major landmarks. More here.

Available in grocery, everyday, hobo or beach styles, the full Maptote range can be found here, alongside more goodies such as zip pouches, wine totes and baby onesies.

This duo have designed a tote for J.Crew's newly opened Men's clothing store, the Liquor Store in Tribeca, and also sell exclusive designs through select J.Crew mainline stores.

I love the idea of having a custom tote created to celebrate a wedding, family occasion or your own favourite place. Such a great gift. You'll be lost without one...
